On this page you will find datasets that I use in my classes as well as data that I have employed in some of my research projects. These datasets cover topics such as the automobile market, government allocation and procurement calls through the SECOP II system, deaths and births, sexually transmitted diseases, suicide attempts, total factor productivity, Research and Development (R&D) expenditure, and my favorite financial assets. Unless otherwise stated, all datasets correspond to Colombia. Some databases are structured as panel data, time series, or cross-sectional datasets. Almost all databases are available in Excel and CSV formats.
